| [[Mario]] and [[Luigi]] are in the middle of fixing the furnace. Mario tells Luigi to watch out for the furnace as he might be hit in the head. Assuring Mario that he will not, Luigi moves his head out of the way just as the dial pops out. Suddenly, he and Luigi hear a man say "Gesundheit". As they wonder who is speaking, the furnace succeeds hitting Luigi when it pops out the third time.

| An old man walks up and invites them for {{wp|23 skiddoo (phrase)|23 skiddoo}}, {{wp|Hot tamale|hot tamales}}, and other activities as soon as he finds his razor. Mario, not understanding what he means asks Luigi what he is talking about. Luigi tells Mario that the old man wants to get out, find some pretty girls, and go dancing with them. He then asks when the man fell asleep in their basement, which he responds that it was only last night. After being asked what year it is, he believes it is still 1929.
