| The level is a large [[pit]] that can be crossed over by two [[Flying Platform]]s; [[jump]]ing on either platform triggers the level to scroll, including the background to resemble fast flying, and both platforms ascend and descend alternately. [[Koopa Paratroopa]]s roam the sky and congregate in flocks, guarding various intermittent power-ups and [[Dragon Coin]]s. About halfway through the ride, the player comes to a small island of [[! Block|Blue Block]]s where an [[extra life]] can be earned inside a [[Rotating Block]]. Shortly after, just beyond the [[Giant Gate]] rest three [[1-Up Mushroom]]s that can be reached by [[fly]]ing over the Giant Gate with a [[Cape Feather]] or [[Yoshi (species)|Blue Yoshi]] or by jumping off [[Yoshi]] when one of the Flying Platforms reaches the highest point at the goal. | |
