| | This level is a large gap that can only be passed througout by two flying blocks. Koopa Paratroopas roam the sky. There is a 1-up Mushroom in the middle of the stage, where Mario can take it quickly leaving for a while the flying platform, as long as the Blue ! Blocks are activated. If Mario misses the flying platform, he will need to start over. Just after the Giant Gate where Mario clears the level, there are three 1-up Mushrooms that the plumber can pick up using the Cape Feather or Blue Yoshi. |

| The level is a large pit that can be crossed over by two Flying Platforms; jumping on either platform triggers the level to scroll, and both platforms ascend and descend alternately. Koopa Paratroopas roam the sky and congregate in flocks, guarding various intermittent power-ups and Dragon Coins. About halfway through the ride, the player comes to a small island of Blue Blocks where an extra life can be earned inside a Rotating Block. Shortly after, just beyond the Giant Gate rest three 1-Up Mushrooms that can be reached by flying over the Giant Gate with a Cape Feather or Blue Yoshi or by jumping off Yoshi when one of the Flying Platforms reaches the highest point at the goal.
