In ''Donkey Kong 3'', five flowers appear in every stage. [[Buzzbee]]s and [[Butterfly (Donkey Kong 3)|Butterflies]] try and steal Stanley's flowers, so Stanley must shoot them with his [[Sprayer]]. If a Buzzbee or Butterfly grabs a flower and feeds it to [[Donkey Kong]], it becomes a [[Super Bee]]. Flowers start of as '''Sprouts''' before becoming '''Buds''' in the next stage and finally '''Blooms'''<ref>''[[Arcade Archives]]'' ''Donkey Kong 3'' manual page 6</ref> and remain so even after the game loops back to the first round. This rises to 5000 perfect bonus points if all the flowers are Blooms.
