'''Flitters''' are dragonfly enemies that first appear in ''[[Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest]]''. These flying insects primarily live in the swamps of [[Crocodile Isle]]; however, Flitters can be found all over the [[Kremling]] home island. These enemies are commonly used as air-grunts by the [[Kremling Krew]]. As such, Flitters spend their days flying in the air, on the look-out for [[K. Rool]]’s enemies. Flitters perform the same function as [[Necky|Neckies]] and [[Hogwash]]es from other games in the ''[[Donkey Kong Country (series)|Donkey Kong Country]]'' & [[Donkey Kong Land (series)|''Donkey Kong Land'']] series. | |||

While some Flitters fly in a straight line, other Flitters fly around in circles, guarding an important item. However, most Flitters are stationary, hovering in one place.
