The background is a scene from ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'', as shown in the pictures. The Starting Planet is the largest planet in the Flipswitch Galaxy and the only accessible one. It is covered in [[Flipswitch Panel]]s (18 of them exactly) and several hazards such as spiked platforms and electrical barriers.
