The galaxy is composed of 18 [[Flipswitch Panel]]s which [[Mario]] (or [[Luigi]]) must step on. After all of them have been turned yellow, a [[Power Star]] appears. The background is a scene from ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'', as shown in the pictures. They periodically switch between variations of [[World 2-1 (Super Mario Bros.)|World 2-1]] and [[World 1-2 (Super Mario Bros.)|World 1-2]].
