Flimsy Lifts return in ''[[Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels]]'', behaving exactly the same as in ''Super Mario Bros.'' Flimsy Lifts return in ''[[Super Mario Bros. 3]]'', appearing only in [[World 1-4 (Super Mario Bros. 3)|World 1-4]]. They behave mostly the same as the predecessors, except that they now move horizontally, and no longer stop moving when the player steps off of them.

Flimsy Lifts behaving like their ''Super Mario Bros.'' counterparts also appear in ''[[Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3]]''{{'}}s [[World-e]] level [[Caped Escape]].

They mainly appear in secret areas of [[Donut Secret 2]] and [[Chocolate Secret]] as well as throughout [[Star World 5]], though two also appear in [[Butter Bridge 1]], one appears in [[Chocolate Island 4]], and three appear in [[Way Cool]].

====''Super Mario Maker'' / ''Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS'' / ''Super Mario Maker 2''====
Flimsy Lifts appear as placeable course elements in ''[[Super Mario Maker]]'', ''[[Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS]]'', and ''[[Super Mario Maker 2]]'', behaving as they did in ''Super Mario World'' and ''New Super Mario Bros.'', though they are now given a bluish hue to properly differentiate them from regular Lifts. Placing [[wing]]s on a Flimsy Lift makes it fall more slowly, and placing one on a track makes it act like a Rail Lift that remains stationary until the player lands on it.

===''Yoshi's Island DS''===
In ''[[Yoshi's Island DS]]'', a total of seven Flimsy Lifts appear in the final segment of the level [[Superhard Acrobatics]]. They behave the same as in ''Super Mario World''.
