Flimsy Lifts return in ''[[Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels]]'', behaving exactly the same as in ''Super Mario Bros.'' Flimsy Lifts behaving like their ''Super Mario Bros.'' counterparts also appear in ''[[Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3]]''{{'}}s [[World-e]] level [[Caped Escape]].

They mainly appear in secret areas of [[Donut Secret 2]] and [[Chocolate Secret]] as well as throughout [[Star World 5]], though two also appear in [[Butter Bridge 1]], one appears in [[Chocolate Island 4]], and three appear in [[Way Cool]].

Flimsy Lifts appear as placeable course elements in ''[[Super Mario Maker]]'', ''[[Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS]]'', and ''[[Super Mario Maker 2]]'', behaving as they did in ''Super Mario World'' and ''New Super Mario Bros.'', though they are now given a bluish hue to properly differentiate them from regular Lifts. Placing [[wings]] on a Flimsy Lift makes it fall more slowly, and placing one on a track makes it act like a Rail Lift that remains stationary until the player lands on it.

In ''[[Yoshi's Island DS]]'', a total of seven Flimsy Lifts appear in the final segment of the level [[Superhard Acrobatics!]]. They behave the same as in ''Super Mario World''.
