The '''Fishhook''' (parsed as '''Fish Hook''' in British English) is a [[Sticker#Things|Thing]] in ''[[Paper Mario: Sticker Star]]''. It is found at [[Outlook Point]] behind a [[Secret Door]]. The Secret Door outline is found at the bottom of the ledges in front of the sticker shop. Unlike other rooms accessed through a Secret Door, the room that contains the Fishhook is a cave that opens out to the water. The Fishhook remains in [[Mario]]'s [[Album]] until it is turned into a [[sticker]] at a [[Sling-a-Thing]] station. Once it has been used as a sticker, it returns to its original position. It may also be purchased from the [[Shady Toad]] for 100 [[coin]]s and sold as a sticker for 20 coins.

As a sticker, the Fishhook takes up four squares in the Album. When it is used in a regular battle, the background retracts as the Fishhook is lowered behind the foreground. Tranquil music plays as something tugs at the Fishhook. Depending how fast the player presses {{button|3ds|a}} to retract the line, the sticker the Fishhook brings up varies. Pressing {{button|3ds|a}} right on the first tug or using a [[Leaf]] awards the player with a [[Megaflash Jump]]. If the button is pressed after the first tug, that results in a [[Big Shiny Jump]]. Pressing {{button|3ds|a}} after 2 to 4 tugs results in a [[Shiny Jump]]. Failing to perform the [[Action Command]] or prematurely pulling up the Fishhook results in a [[Worn-Out Jump]].

The Fishhook is needed to pull the [[Big Cheep Cheep]] out of the water at [[Surfshine Harbor]]. After returning the [[Ship's Wheel (scrap)|Ship's Wheel]] and cutting ship's rope with the [[Scissors (Thing)|Scissors]], a Big Cheep Cheep prevents the boat from progressing. Mario must start a battle with the Big Cheep Cheep and use the Fishhook when the Big Cheep Cheep enters the water. This pulls the Big Cheep Cheep onto the dock and prevents it from entering the water again.

The Fishhook can be placed into the [[Sticker Museum]] as #56.
