'''Fire Mountain Plus''' is the third plus world in ''[[Mario vs. Donkey Kong]]'' and its [[Mario vs. Donkey Kong (Nintendo Switch)|remake]], being the counterpart to the previous [[Fire Mountain (world)|Fire Mountain]] world. The backgrounds of the levels there are a different color (or completely different design in the remake) than in the original world it is based on. Like with its regular world counterpart, Fire Mountain Plus also features the same music replacements in the remake.

Exclusively in the [[Nintendo Switch]] version of ''[[Mario vs. Donkey Kong (Nintendo Switch)|Mario vs. Donkey Kong]]'' is a bonus level that can be played after completing enough levels. This bonus level features several [[sand block]]s that the player needs to crumble to reach some of the [[1-Up Mushroom]]s located in the lower portions of the level. Like other bonus levels, the player needs to catch the [[flying key]] and bring it to the chest at the bottom of the level for more extra lives.
