He is a pair of two large stone hands with an eyeball on each palm, making him a golem-like entity. His name could be either a portmanteau of "eye" and "rock" or a pun on the phrase "I rock."
Eyerok is a golem-like entity who appears as a boss in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS. It is composed of two massive, stone hands with eyeballs in the palms.

Super Mario 64
Eyerok is the boss of Shifting Sand Land. He resides in the center of the pyramid, inside a chamber. Eyerok attacks by either slamming his fists or trying to push Mario off the platform. Each fist acts separately. Only one exposes its eyeball at a time, making it vulnerable. A hit from Eyerok takes away three wedges of the Power Meter. Eyerok can be damaged from either punching, kicking, or diving into the eyeball on either palm. One of Eyerok's hands is destroyed after three hits, but destroying both is required for the Power Star of the mission Stand Tall on the Four Pillars.
In Super Mario 64, Eyerok is the boss of Shifting Sand Land and resides in the central pyramid, where it guards one of the Power Stars. Its chamber is a platform with a pit on three sides, which is inside a large red brick block in the pyramid. It slams down its fists and tries to push the player off of the platform. When hit, the player will lose three bars in the power meter. The player must punch Eyerok's eyes (located in its palms) enough times to destroy each hand, at which point the stone monstrosity is defeated.

Eyerok can be fought by any of the four player characters in Super Mario 64 DS, except Yoshi, unless he is wearing a cap, allowing him to destroy the Brick obstructing the entrance to Eyerok's chamber. If Yoshi were to fight Eyerok, he can attack by slide-kicking or ground-pounding into the eyes or by eating a flame from one of the small pillars and then breathing it into either of Eyerok's open eyes. For Wario, only two hits are necessary to destroy each hand.
Super Mario 64 DS
In Super Mario 64 DS, Eyerok makes an appearance. Like in its original appearance, it appears in Shifting Sand Land during the Stand Tall On The Four Pillars mission. When Mario enters its chamber and disturbs it, the two engage in battle. Eyerok's strategy remains unchanged: attacking Mario while leaving an eye exposed.

Mario Kart DS
Mario Kart series
Eyerok appears in Mario Kart DS. He is fought by Mario in the Sand Arena at the end of level 2 of the Missions mode. Eyerok moves around the arena, but he can take damage from Green Shells. After the first and second hits each, Eyerok jumps around in the shape of fists briefly. He begins moving vertically more often after two hits. After three hits, Eyerok is defeated.
Mario Kart DS
Eyerok also appears in Mario Kart DS as the second boss in Mission Mode. It appears in the Sand Arena. There are three Item Boxes here which contain Green Shells. Eyerok moves up and down trying to dodge these shells. After being hit one time, it jumps around while making fists. Then, it opens its fists, exposing its eyes. After being hit a second time, it stomps around again. After being hit a third time, Eyerok disappears.

Eyerok appears in one of the Super Mario-kun comics. He appears on the cover of the sixteenth issue, which is based on Super Mario 64. His role throughout the comic mimics his role in the game. Though more Super Mario 64 issues exist, Eyerok appears in only one. Mario attempts to attack him, even by flatulating on him, but Eyerok just pokes or smacks him with both hands. After finding out that the eyes are the weak points, Mario takes measures to make them open their eyes and then defeats them.

Trivia
*Knucklotec – a boss in Super Mario Odyssey who speaks and fights in a similar manner to Eyerok
*Eyerok is a portmanteau of "eye" and "rock."
*Snow Ogre – an ice version of Eyerok in Mario Tennis Aces who serves as the boss of Snowfall Mountain
*If Mario stands on the tomb containing the Power Star, Eyerok will keep banging on the ground with its fists until Mario gets off the tomb.
*Eyerok's behavior during the battle is somewhat similar to the behavior of Bouldergeist's hands when it uses them to attack Mario during the second half of the battle in the Ghostly Galaxy and the Boss Blitz Galaxy.
*It is possible to get into Eyerok's chamber through an alternate way in Super Mario 64 DS with Luigi by backflipping off of the cube Eyerok resides in, punching the brick covering the hole, and entering the chamber.
*Eyerok bears some resemblance to Master Hand and Crazy Hand.
* Eyerok mentions he has been sleeping forever, but Bowser says he gave the stars to his troops in the walls. This is most likely a mistake.
