| Like some courses from ''[[Mario Kart Wii]]'' and ''[[Mario Kart 7]]'', the music has different layers depending on the location of the player. Driving on the parts of the course representing electronic instruments causes effects to be added to the music, and when racing through areas that feature a crowd of dancing Koopas and Shy Guys, hand claps (as well as the Shy Guys' voices) become audible. This track has the most channels of music in the game, having eight different channels due to the base music, first place beats, electronic instruments, and the crowd of dancing Koopas and Shy Guys. This number of music channels is tied with other tracks, including [[Music Park|<small>3DS</small> Music Park]].
