'''Egobies''' are fish in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Brothership]]'' that are found in the seas of [[Concordia]]. They can be caught by [[fishing]] for them as either [[Mario]] or [[Luigi]] from the fishing spot on [[Shipshape Island]]; when hooked, three exclamation points display on the screen (!!!). When caught, they are treated as items and can be sold for 30 coins. One Egoby must be given to [[Leyden]] during the side quest [[Leyden's Piscine PR Plans]]. Their name is a portmanteau of "{{wp|ego}}" and "{{wp|goby}};" in particular, it may be a reference to the ''{{wp|ego zebra}}'', a species of goby.
