An Eggplant Man also appears in ''{{iw|chibirobo|Chibi-Robo!}}'' as '''{{iw|chibirobo|Kid Eggplant}}''', one of the three treasures {{iw|chibirobo|Captain Plankbeard}} is searching for. The captain is wild about eggplants, and attempts to capture Kid Eggplant, but he does not succeed. For freeing him, Kid Eggplant rewards Chibi-Robo with a Super Eggplant and a Kid Eggplant Sticker, after Chibi kindly rejects Kid Eggplant's offer to turn him into an eggplant. Kid Eggplant's name in the Japanese version of ''Chibi-Robo!'' is "Nasubi Kamen", which is the same Japanese name as Eggplant Man.
