Editing Egg Block

Egg Blocks are replaced by similarly designed objects known as '''Yarn Baskets''' in ''[[Yoshi's Woolly World]]'' and ''[[Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World]]''. They can pop open halfway when hit, showing they literally contain [[yarn ball]]s. Yarn balls are the game's equivalent to Yoshi eggs. Hitting a Yarn Basket from the bottom releases one yarn ball, and hitting it with a yarn ball from any side releases three at once. This respects the maximum number of yarn balls that a Yoshi can currently carry, so more yarn balls cannot appear if there are as many or more yarn balls in the course as that maximum. The yarn ball used to hit the Yarn Basket despawns in the process, even if it is a [[big yarn ball]]. Sometimes, a Yarn Basket makes a big yarn ball instead of a normal yarn ball. If a Yoshi is using the "Make all yarn balls big!" {{id|Power Badge|YWW}}, Yarn Baskets always release a number of big yarn balls to fill the Yoshi up to the maximum number of yarn balls no matter how they are hit. In {{a|P&YWW}}, if a Yoshi is in [[Easy Mode|Mellow Mode]] or has switched from Mellow Mode to Classic Mode without scrolling the Yarn Basket off the screen at any point afterward, Yarn Baskets appear to be empty. This ties into the functionality of the [[Poochy Pup]]s, who can optionally replace yarn balls in Mellow Mode. While the Poochy Pups are out, Yarn Baskets do not release yarn balls. However, they release yarn balls when the Poochy Pups are in their button, even though they appear to not contain yarn balls. Poochy Pups, unlike yarn balls, bounce off of Yarn Baskets.

Egg Blocks appear in the [[Yoshi's Island Zone]] stage of ''[[Sonic Lost World]]'', though only three Yoshi Eggs can ever emerge from them, regardless of how many are following Sonic.
