Teams have to both alternately press left and right at the same time. Small fireballs can jump out of the [[lava]] and go to the other lava pool, attempting to burn one of the teams to slow it down. There are also two [[Thwomp]]s that will attempt to squash a team. If any one of the players in the team moves incorrectly, the team will fall down and get stunned for a moment. If a human player is partnered with a CPU, they will always be in sync. The team who reaches the end first wins.
Each team player alternately presses left and right at the same time. If the team does an incorrect move, they fall temporarily. Obstacles along the way include small fireballs jumping out of [[lava]] before entering the other lava pool and two [[Thwomp]]s that try to crush players. The first team to reach the end wins, but if neither team does on time, it is a draw.  


In ''Mario Party 2'', the minigame is unlocked when the player visits [[Mini-Game Park]] after having bought 35 minigames from [[Woody]]. As such, it and fellow unlockable minigame [[Rainbow Run (minigame)|Rainbow Run]] are the two end-of-turn minigames not part of the [[Mini-Game Coaster]] in ''Mario Party 2''.
