Upon obtaining the power-up, Wario puts on a '''Dragon Hat''',<ref>{{cite|title=''Nintendo Character Guide''|date=1990s|page=CI.53}}</ref> which is shaped like a green dragon's head and has an orange mechanical gear on the back. When in Dragon form, Wario cannot perform his [[Dash Attack|Body Slam]] and instead gains the ability to shoot continuous bursts of fire from the Dragon Hat's nostrils, allowing him to defeat enemies from a distance and quickly break through lots of blocks at once. The attack works differently underwater, using a short-ranged laser beam instead of flames to attack.
