Dr. Eggman easily beats Metal Sonic, causing Orbot & Cubot to suggest that Dr. Eggman may have programmed Metal Sonic to lose to him. Dr. Eggman decides to try to find a better way to test Metal Sonic, and suggests that Orbot & Cubot compete against him, though they point out that they are not athletes and they lack legs. Dr. Eggman tells them he was joking and to help him come up with an idea. The group notice Waluigi on one of the camera feeds, and set off to find him as an opponent for Metal Sonic.
