Once at the bridge, the player needs to use the [[Hover Nozzle]] or the [[rope]]s to cross the gap. Beyond the bridge, there are several piles of [[goop]] and many [[Piranhabon]]s that roll down the path to the windmill. The path spirals around the windmill and there are several [[Piranha Plant]]s in the patches of goop that appear when the player gets near. Near the end of the path, there are two gaps the player needs to hover over. Taking the windmill's platforms up and jumping onto the top starts a cinematic of Petey Piranha roaring to intimidate [[Mario]], which leads to the two of them crashing through the windmill and falling inside. Once inside, the battle with Petey Piranha begins. Petey's attacks involve spitting out goop, which causes [[Gooble]]s and [[Piranha Plant]]s to spawn, and attacking Mario if he gets near. To defeat Petey Piranha, the player needs to spray into his mouth when it is open. Spraying water into Petey's mouth until he swallows it all causes Petey to fall over and his belly button to bulge. [[Ground Pound]]ing Petey Piranha's belly makes him spew the water he swallowed around him, cleaning up any goop he created. Spraying and Ground Pounding Petey Piranha two more times defeats him and reward the player with the episode's [[Shine Sprite]].
