| In ''[[Super Mario-kun]]'' ([[Super Mario-kun Volume 51|volume 51]], chapter 14), the Director is the only one met in the Factory. He kindly presents himself to the heroes and offers them some drinks: trusting him, Mario, [[Bowser]], [[Peach]], and [[Mallow]] accept the drinks, only to discover that they had been spiked with poison, though Mario is unaffected by it. Right then, Smithy appears, and the Director exits from the scene, never to be seen again. In the manga, the Director's body is not seen (the feet and arms are directly connected to the head) and two big eyes are shown behind the helmet.
