| | Dino-Torches, sometimes called Mini-Rhinos, are smaller versions of the triceratops-like Dino Rhinos. What's strange, though, is that the Mini-Rhinos could produce flames from their maws, whether they be facing upwards or to the side, while Dino Rhinos couldn't, or rarely did, produce flames at all. Mini-Rhinos would track their opponents, chasing them until one of them died. A note should be mentioned, that when a Dino Rhino was jumped upon, it would de-evolve into these. |

A Dino-Torch can be defeated with a [[stomp]] or [[Super Star]], but care must be taken that Mario or Luigi does not [[jump]] into its flames. When a [[Dino Rhino|Dino-Rhino]] is jumped on, it transforms into a Dino-Torch. While Dino-Rhinos are immune to fire, their smaller counterparts are not.
