The level starts on a raft surrounded by poison in a jungle-like area. After avoiding some Stingbies and moving platforms, the player is able to reach the Checkpoint Flag. This is followed by some more Stingbies as well as platforms with Piranha Creepers on them. *Green Star 1: The first Green Star is in a Clear Pipe, nearby the stamp.
*Green Star 2: After the checkpoint, the player must activate the Green Star Ring and collect all eight Green Coins to reveal the second Green Star. (See Picture)
*Green Star 3: Near the end, the player must use the Cat form to climb the wall next to the Warp Box in order to collect the third Green Star. The player can also do a very precise jump, wall jump off of the wall, then roll into the Green Star. It is easier to use the latter method while playing as Luigi or Rosalina.
