Davy Bones is a large, skeletal eel and the third boss of DK: King of Swing. It is the boss of Aqua World, and is located in its own small lair, Davy Bones' Locker. Both its name and boss level are derived from the old sea legend of Davy Jones' Locker.

Davy Bones attempts to attack Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong by lunging out at them from one of the gaps in the wall. If the Kong is hit by Davy Bones, they lose a heart of their health, but if they perform a charge attack into Davy Bones, they temporarily knock out Davy Bones. While Davy Bones is knocked out, Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong must grab an orange peg at the tip of its tail and swing it at the spiked walls. The cycle continues until Davy Bones's health bar runs out, thus defeating it.
Davy Bones is encountered by Donkey Kong in the Aqua World. Davy Bones would try to attack Donkey Kong by lunging at him from one of the holes it inhabits. Whenever Davy does this Donkey must grab hold of a small red spot on Davy's tail and swing him into a nearby row of spikes. After bashing Davy into these spikes several times the zombified sea creature will explode and Donkey will obtain the golden medal that Davy was guarding.

* The name Davy Bones is derived from the old sea legend of Davy Jones' Locker; in fact, the level Davy Bones is encountered in is called "Davy Bones' Locker".
|Jap=シーボン
* Davy Bones bares limited resemblance to the Yoshi's Story enemy Bone Dragon. Interestingly, the two characters' posing in their official artwork is also very uncanny.
|JapR=Shī Bon
*From JKing of Swing's sequel, Jungle Climber, there is a dragon boss that is very similar to Davy Bones in both appearance and the way Donkey Kong fights it.
