Darkmess Dams are a form of Darkmess that appears in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, located in Terra Flora. They are only in one battle, the second Darkmess Tentacle of Terra Flora, named Spout Forth. They are hard, crystallized forms of Darkmess that block the water inside of Mt. Spout, and must be destroyed to clear the battle.

There are three Darkmess Dams, located at various parts of the battlefield. There are also three cauldrons containing potions that are needed to destroy them. Heroes must grab a potion, and then toss it at a Darkmess Dam, which will destroy it. A maximum of two potions appear for each cauldron, with new potions appearing every turn, as long as there are less than two potions. Every time a Darkmess Dam is destroyed, more water will flow, filling in the space that the Darkmess Dam blocked.

The enemies that appear during the battle include several Lone Wolves, Squashettes, and Depleters, with more appearing from Darkmess portals as the battle goes on. After all three Darkmess Dams are destroyed, the battle is won, and the Spark Pulser joins the heroes on their adventure.
