The '''Dark Sproing-Oing''' is an enemy in ''[[Super Paper Mario]]'' found only in the [[Flopside Pit of 100 Trials]]. Just like every other enemy in the pit, they are colored pitch black. Just like any other member of the [[Sproing-Oing]] family, they split into three smaller Dark Sproing-Oings when defeated. However, if enough damage is dealt fast enough, they will not split. They are the strongest kind of [[Sproing-Oing]].
