It appears as a shadow of a [[Ninjoe]]. The Dark Ninjoe is found in groups in the Pit of 100 Trials. It is a lightning quick foe, even faster than the [[Ninjerry]], and often throws many ninja stars at the player. These facts in addition to it being found in groups makes it deadly. There is no solid strategy to defeat it, though stunning it with [[Fleep]] and then jumping on it works effectively. However, they have one more trick up their sleeve: the Ninjoe that is attacked might be a decoy, which will explode and hurt Mario upon being attacked. | ||
