Layouts[edit]

Pink Coins[edit]

The level starts with a Dry Bones, as well as several wall jumps and a Super Mushroom. The first Pink Coin is up ahead, although the player will need to hit the P Switch and quickly head left. After crossing past a series of adjacent yellow warp pipes, the path will split. Immediately after the split, the player must hit another P Switch inside of a Brick Block without collecting any of the coins to jump onto coins turned into Brick Blocks, then jump onto the yellow warp pipe to collect the second Pink Coin. This Pink Coin can also be collected with Yoshi by flutter jumping. After a while, Grinders start to appear, as well as line-controlled Grinders, with the third Pink Coin immediately to the left of the last one in the series. A Red Ring then appears, and the player must follow the trail to the fourth Pink Coin. A mass of coins appears, followed by a group of Brick Blocks blocking the passage. A Super Mushroom is in this area to use against the blocks. Following this is the door to the tower's exterior, with the fifth and final Pink Coin directly above it; the player can collect it by wall jumping. Once outside, there is one last P Switch and the Goal Pole.

Purple Coins[edit]

The level starts with a Dry Bones, as well as several wall jumps and a Super Mushroom. After hitting a P Switch, the first Purple Coin is in a ? Block reachable only by the coins turned into Brick Blocks. After crossing past a series of adjacent yellow warp pipes, the path will split. Immediately after the split, the player must carefully wall jump to hit a Brick Block containing another P Switch, then hit the P Switch to jump onto coins turned into Brick Blocks, and in turn jump onto the yellow warp pipe to collect the second Purple Coin. After a while, Grinders start to appear, as well as two line-controlled Grinders, with the third Purple Coin on a platform directly in between the two Grinders. The fourth Purple Coin is immediately after, at the path of the circling Grinder. A mass of coins appears, followed a set of Brick Blocks blocking the passage. The fifth and final Purple Coin in the center of the bricks, and a Super Mushroom is just below the blocks so that the player can break through. The door takes the player outside, where one last P Switch appears, followed by the Goal Pole.

Black Coins[edit]

The level starts with a Dry Bones, as well as several wall jumps and a Super Mushroom. The player will approach the first Black Coin; however, they must hit a P-Switch directly above first, then quickly make their way across to the coin. After crossing past a series of adjacent yellow warp pipes, the path will split. Immediately after the split, the player must carefully wall jump to hit a Brick Block containing another P Switch, then hit the P Switch and carefully cross the Brick Blocks and wall jump to cross again and jump onto the warp pipe where the second Black Coin awaits. After a while, Grinders start to appear, as well as line-controlled Grinders, with the third Black Coin immediately to the left of the last one in the series. A Red Ring then appears, and the player must follow the trail to the fourth Black Coin. A mass of coins appears, followed a passage blocked by Brick Blocks. A Super Mushroom is nearby to break through. Above is a door to the exterior and above that are two sets of Spike Traps with the fifth and final Black Coin above them. Collecting this coin requires some form of invincibility to wall jump off the spikes. Once outside, one last P Switch appears, followed by the Goal Pole.

Trivia[edit]

  • This course can be made impossible to complete, The player must be in Super form to break through a mass of Brick Blocks near the end of the course. These blocks are preceded by a Super Mushroom, which guarantees that the player is able to be Super. Due to the layout of the bridges, the player cannot move very far backward after using the Super Mushroom, preventing them from taking damage unless they use a Bubble to move backward. Additionally, this Super Mushroom respawns when its original position is offscreen, so normal Bubble usage makes the Super Mushroom return. However, it is possible to use a Bubble to move just low enough to take damage from a Grinder while still being high enough to prevent the Super Mushroom from respawing, then return to the now impassible Brick Blocks.
