The '''Curlup R''' is a stronger version of a [[Curlup]] in ''[[Mario & Luigi: Brothership]]''. Only one appears in the game, during the side quest [[Monster Mania: Level 3]] on [[Petit Islet]]. The Curlup R has purple shell and white belly, differing itself from normal Curlups. The [[Monster Maniac]] claims these creatures got their high hit point value from snacking on [[Heart Point|Heart]] [[Bean]]s; however, he does admit that they may have eaten too much.

==Battle==
[[Mario]] and [[Luigi]] must defeat the Curlup R to clear the side quest. The enemy is level 40 and has 35,000 HP, the highest HP amount of any enemy in the game (even higher than [[Reclusa]] who has 19,912 HP in total). It fights exactly like a normal Curlup, having the same attacks.

Inflicting the [[Burn]] status via the Fiery Attack [[Battle Plug]] on the Curlup R makes it lose 10,500 HP per turn.
