The '''Cricket Pie''' is a special item in ''[[Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars]]''. It is purchased from the item shop in [[Toad Town|Mushroom Kingdom]] with [[Mallow]]'s [[Rare Frog Coin]], though it can only be purchased once the [[Shymore]] invasion has ended due to the shopkeeper panicking in a corner while it happens. Mallow had been sent to town to get the Cricket Pie by [[Frog Sage]]. Once the player meets Frog Sage, they can give him the Cricket Pie to cheer him up due to him being sad about Mallow's departure. After it is given to him, he gives Mallow the [[Froggie Stick]] weapon. While the weapon's use is optional, the player still needs to give him the Cricket Pie to complete the game, as without it, he will be too distracted to tell the party about [[Star Hill]]. | |||
