When [[Mario]] gives [[Gourmet Guy]] a [[Cake]] (baked by [[Tayce T.]] after Mario returns her [[Frying Pan]]), Gourmet Guy jumps around the area and flies offscreen, dropping the Cookbook. When Mario visits Tayce T. with the Cookbook in his inventory, she will notice the book and asks Mario if she can have it. | In ''[[Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door]]'', the Cookbook is hidden in the [[Creepy Steeple]] and is the work of the famous chef [[List of implied characters#Maitre Delish|Maitre Delish]]. To obtain this Cookbook, Mario must roll into a tube and enter a small hole near the entrance of the inside of the Steeple. It is given to [[Zess T.]] during the "[[Seeking legendary book!]]" trouble. It has the same effects as in ''Paper Mario'', allowing Zess T. to cook an item from two ingredients.
