Cooks are enemies featured in Wario Land II. They are small, pink moles in chef's attire that induce the Fat Wario status.

They walk around certain levels (usually indoors) carrying pieces of cake on long forks. If Wario treads too near to a Cook, it will toss its cake and run away. If Wario touches the cake, he will immediately eat it and become Fat Wario, which can be either a hindrance or a necessity for completing the level, depending on the situation.

A very similar species of enemies known as Doughnuteers appeared in Wario Land 3. They behave identical, but look different, noticeably wearing pants in favor of toques. Another difference is that they throw doughnuts rather than cake. They shared their status as a source of the Fat Wario form with Applebies in Wario Land 3, and both enemies were replaced by Ringosukī in Wario Land 4.

Cooks, also referred to as Syrup chefs, are enemies in Wario Land II. These small, pink moles wear a white chef hat and a white apron and move around while carrying pieces of cake on long forks in certain levels, most commonly within indoor areas. A Cook throws its cake if Wario is nearby before running away.

Derived enemies known as Doughnuteers appeared in Wario Land 3. They behave nearly identically, but look different, noticeably wearing pants in favor of toques, throw doughnuts rather than cake, and do not pause as long. They share their status as a source of the Fat Wario form with Applebies in Wario Land 3, and were replaced by the similar Ringosukī in Wario Land 4.
