Contact Lens is an item found in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. In the begining of the game, two yellow Piantas run by Zess T. Accidentally, Zess T. looses her Contact Lens when the Piantas rush by her, and she starts looking for the lens. Mario arrives to the area where Zess T. is, however Zess T. orders Mario not to move, and she explains she's looking for her Contact Lens. However, Mario does move, and accidentally steps in her contact lens and squishes them. Zess T. gets mad at Mario, and decides to not let Mario pass to the Western side of Rogueport until Mario gets her new contact lens. Mario orders replacements for her at the Toad Bros. Bazaar, and after Chapter 1, Mario can buy them for ten coins. To order, Mario must talk to the Toad shopkeeper on the right side of the shop twice, after which the Toad shopkeeper will ask whether or not he wants to order one. After Mario gets her the Contact Lens, Zess T. will be able to cook one item for him. She will also let Mario continue to the Western side of Rogueport.

The Contact Lens comes in after the current chapter from when it was ordered is completed, though if Mario orders the Contact Lens after Chapter 2, it is available for purchase after leaving the screen and coming back.
