Coin Bags are bags of coins found in the Mario Party series. They are worth five coins each and are usually present in coin collecting mini-games. In the game Mario Party 8 their names are revealed by the host called MC Ballyhoo. Also in Mario Party 8, near the end of a Party Tent game, MC Ballyhoo will make the board filled with coins in every space (so even if the character just passes by a Blue Space but doesn't land on it, he or she will still get coins). Sometimes when this happens, a few Coin Bags can be seen on the board.

A coin bag is a collectible found in the Mario Party series. Coin bags are worth five coins each and are usually present in coin-collecting minigames, although they are rarer than the singular coins. In Mario Party 4, some coin bags appear in the minigame Paratrooper Plunge, where they give the player five coins each. In Mario Party 5, the Koopa Bank Capsule is represented by a coin bag. In Mario Party 8, MC Ballyhoo places coin bags onto the board's Red Spaces when the game reaches the last five turns.

The Coin Bag also appears in the game, Super Princess Peach. It looked drastically different from the Mario Party game series as it has a colorful bag, and a ribbon on it has it is a bag. When Peach finds one of these objects, the Coin Bags seems to stay in the sky as it flaps it's wings. Peach can whack the Coin Bag by using Perry as she carries it all the time. When Peach whacks it, a few Coins pop out from the bottom of the Coin Bag as Peach can grab the Coins.
