| Coconut Conk is played in Stages 2 and 5 of the [[Mt. Minigames#Trio Challenge|Trio Challenge]] in [[Mt. Minigames]]. In Stage 2, the team players are humans battling a solo player controlled by a CPU at hard difficulty, and the rank requirements include Rank A by hitting a rival within 10 seconds; Rank B by either hitting within 20 seconds or the CPU doing so within 10 seconds; Rank C by either hitting before time runs out or the CPU doing so within 20 seconds; or Rank D by scoring a hit before time runs out. In Stage 5, the solo player is controlled by the solo player, who battles CPU opponents of the Hard difficulty. The only Stage 5 ranking is Rank A, which is achieved by winning.
