A remake of World 1-1 from the original [[Super Mario Bros.]], the player has to get to the end of the level. For more information, see [[World 1 (Super Mario Bros.)#World 1-1|here]].
This level is a remake of [[World 2-2 (Super Mario Bros.)|World 2-2]] from the original ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' However, Mario now starts in the main underwater part, rather than above-ground. [[Spiny Cheep Cheep|Spiny Cheep-Cheep]]s replace the original level's red and green ones, as they act differently in ''Super Mario Bros. 3''. The currents in the pits are also absent.
