'''Circuit Maximus''' is a 4-Player [[minigame]] in ''[[Mario Party 6]]''. Its name is a reference to the {{wp|Circus Maximus}}, which was a racing arena in {{wp|ancient Rome}}.

In the [[Miracle Book]] of the game, there is a page entitled "[[Amp]] Attack" that is based on Circuit Maximus. [[Luigi]] and [[Princess Daisy|Daisy]] are shown playing. Activating the page causes an Amp to shock Luigi.

There are only aesthetic changes between day and night.

==Introduction==
The camera zooms to the starting point as several Amps emerge from hatches in the center of the room.

==Gameplay==
The minigame takes place in an octagonal circuit with many Amps in it. Players must get through the circuit by passing through the gates in each section while avoiding the Amps. If a player touches an Amp, it stuns them for a few moments. Each section has more and more Amps, making it harder for the players to get through as the minigame progresses. Some Amps move about the room; others remain stationary. The goal is to get all the way around the octagon the fastest. If five minutes pass, the minigame ends in a tie.

This minigame appears as the third minigame in Decathlon Park. Here, the player's objective is to get to the goal as fast as possible to earn as many points as possible, up to 1,000. The default record for this minigame in Decathlon Park is 60 seconds.

==Ending==
The losers are seen being chased by a pair of Amps around a podium on which the winner stands and celebrates. If a tie occurs, all players remain where they are and perform their losing poses.
