Their name is a portmanteau of "chubby" and "[[Goomba]]". Chuboombas are large Goombas with orange heads holding lollipops, and are encountered at [[Cavi Cape]] and [[Plack Beach]].

In battle, it attacks by charging towards Bowser, which he must counter with a [[punch]]. If it wheezes before charging, it will hesitate before impact.
