Chips and Dips is a | Chips and Dips is a battle minigame coming from Mario Party DS. Its name comes from the kind of recipe, "chips and dips". Along with Shuffleboard Showdown, this minigame is not available in the Korean release, likely because of the gambling themes present in this minigame.

Each player picks a card for | Each player picks a card for 3 rounds. A card either has a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, or a Bowser symbol on it. The first round has the 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 cards, the second round adds the 10 card, and the third and final round has all of the cards. Depending on the number on the card, the player gets that number for chips for their stack. If the player gets a Bowser card, their stack of chips will be reduced by half. Whoever has the most chips at the end of the third round, gets the most coins. If two or more players have the same number of chips at the end of the third round, those players win. However, if all players have the same number of chips, it is considered a tie. The highest possible score is 25 (which is achieved by flipping a 5 card in the first round and a 10 card in the second and third rounds), while the lowest is 1 (achieved by flipping a 1 card twice and flipping a Bowser card at the third round).
