Unlike any other golf course in the ''[[Mario Golf (series)|Mario Golf series]]'', this course takes place underwater. As such, various sea creatures can be seen and water hazards are absent. The main feature of this course is the effect being underwater has on the ball, permanently putting it through rain conditions. There are also pipes that partially send the ball in its currents direction as well as coral and [[Urchin]]s that serve as obstacles. Its music is a cover of the underwater theme from ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]''. Additionally, despite being called Cheep Cheep Lagoon, [[Cheep Cheep]]s are only present on the second and ninth holes. | ||
