In Ashley's story, Ashley tries a spell on a flower sprout in an attempt to turn it into a [[Monster Flower|carnivorous plant]], but the effect just causes a simple white flower to blossom from it, to the disappointment of Ashley, so Chatty Mr. Spell Book appears to help her. Before every microgame begins, Chatty Mr. Spell Book opens his mouth to show the form within, and then opens his cover to reveal a number corresponding to the current round.
