Miracle Spaces (also known as Chance Time Spaces or referred as Spin Space in Mario Party 9) are among the rarest type of spaces in the Mario Party series. There are generally only one to three of them on each game board. They began as being called ! Spaces in the first Mario Party game, and players who landed on it played Chance Time to mess up the gameflow. Also, in boards where the star moves after a player purchases one, the space where the star was is likely to be replaced with an ! Space. In Mario Party 4, they were called Fortune Spaces, and players landing on it played Reversal of Fortune. In Mario Party 5, they were called Chance Spaces, and players could only make them by placing Chance Capsules on a space. Anyone who landed here played the Round of Miracles.

In Mario Party 6, they are referred as Miracle Spaces. All names and renames of both the space and the event are essentially the same, differing in name only. In Mario Party 7, they were replaced by the Duel Space because of the game's new rules.
Chance Time Spaces (also known as ! Spaces) are among the rarest type of spaces in the Mario Party series. There are generally only one to three of them on each game board, and can change the tide of a game drastically for or against a player or team. They are called ! Spaces in the first three Mario Party games, and players who land on it must play Chance Time. Also, in boards where the Star moves after a player purchases one, the ! Space often takes the spot where the Star has been. In the first game, they count as Blue Spaces.

In Mario Party 4, they are called Fortune Spaces, and players landing on it played Reversal of Fortune. In the Mario Party 4 Flash game, they will prompt the player the chance to play a Game of Fortune minigame. The player can either accept or decline the offer.
In Mario Party 9 the space returns, but this time it is called the Spin Space. In this game, Spin Spaces cause one of many effects to happen which are determined by a roulette.

In Mario Party 5, these spaces are Chance Spaces, only appearing if players place a Chance Capsule on a Blue or Red Space, and anyone that lands there must play Chance Roulette. In Mario Party 6, they are referred to as Miracle Spaces. All of these events play differently but otherwise have the same effect as the Chance Times from before.
Effects on the Spin Wheel (Only four will appear out of all):
*Steal Mini Stars from a Rival!
**Steal a number of Mini Stars from any player of your choice.
**Random is also an option
*Rivals can't use Special or Normal Dice Blocks!
**In their next turn, only the player that landed on the Spin Space can use the Special or Normal Dice Blocks.
*Get a Special Dice Block!
**Like the Dice Space, the player get a Dice Block. Note that this event doesn't trigger a minigame nor get you Mini Stars.
**4-5-6 Dice Block
**1-10 Dice Block
**Slow Dice Block
*Swap Dice Blocks with a Rival!
**Swap Dice Blocks with any player choosen.
**Random is also an option
*Hit the Dice Block again!
**Like the Dash Space, the Captain gets to hit the Block and move forward again.
*Steal a Dice Block from a Rival!
**Steal a Dice Block with any player is choose.
**Random is also an option if more than one player has any Special Dice Blocks
*Item Shuffle!
**All the dice are shuffled to random players.

The Spin Space in Mario Party 9, the Steal Space from Mario Party 10, and the Event Spaces from Super Mario Party resemble earlier iterations of the Chance Time Space, but both the Spin Space and the Event Spaces have different functions.
(When playing with 3 or 4 players, if a player lands on steal or swap with a rival, there's also a selection for "Random" if they can't decide on whom to steal or swap. If "Random" is selected, a second Roulette activates (a Spinning Wheel with Rivals' faces) and is chosen on whoever's character it lands)

Chance Time Spaces return in Mario Party Superstars, with their name and function being reverted to that of the first three games. They were also redesigned to look like two arrows looking in the opposite direction of each other, likely to avoid any confusion with the Event Spaces.

In Super Mario Party Jamboree, the spaces act similarly to its appearance in Superstars, though they have green backgrounds instead of blue.<ref>Guillaume & Kim (September 9, 2024).
