The '''Challenge Space''' is a type of [[Mario Party (series)#Spaces|space]] found at least once or twice on every game board in ''[[Mario Party 8]]''.

Landing on this space will challenge the player to one of three [[mini-game]]s: [[Stampede]], [[Fruit Picker]], or [[Pour to Score]].  If the player loses the mini-game, he/she gets nothing.  If the player wins the mini-game, he/she gets to throw a dart at the dart wheel to either earn five, ten, or twenty [[coin]]s, depending on where the dart lands.
