In this minigame, two players attempt to saw the chains suspending two [[Thwomp]]s above their opponents' heads by quickly alternating between {{button|gba|L}} and {{button|gba|R}}. If one of the players saws the chain too fast, they are forced to stop and rest; players can see how fast they are sawing by the number of sweat drops that appear behind their characters' heads. The player that saws through the chain first causes the Thwomp to fall onto their opponent, winning the minigame.
In this minigame, two players attempt to saw the chains suspending two [[Thwomps]] above their heads. The player who saw the chain faster wins the game, while the other player loses and the Thwomp falls above him. If one of the players saws the chain too fast, the player has to quickly rest while the other player saws the chain.
