If one of the players saws the chain too quickly, the player has to quickly rest as it wastes time defeating the other player. The player who saws off the attached chain first, wins. |

| Chain Saw is a Duel minigame found in Mario Party Advance. The name of the minigame is a pun on "chainsaw," a portable electric or gas-powered saw used primarily for chopping trees. | |

|
| In the Shroom City mode, Chain Saw is played when the player arrives at the location of Chain Chomp. If the player wins, they win this minigame to play in Play Land.

| In this minigame, two players attempt to saw the chains suspending two Thwomps above their opponents' heads by quickly alternating between gba and gba. If one of the players saws the chain too fast, they are forced to stop and rest; players can see how fast they are sawing by the number of sweat drops that appear behind their characters' heads. The player that saws through the chain first causes the Thwomp to fall onto their opponent, winning the minigame.
