Players dodge | Players dodge spiked balls by switching from one side of a chain they are sliding down to the other. As they go longer without being hit, players slide down faster, but getting hit stuns the player and slow them down. The first player to the bottom of their chain wins.
To complete the bonus objective in Time Attack mode, the player cannot hit more than one spiked ball.
This minigame is also one of Bowser's Reverse Minigames. In it, victory goes to the player who reaches the bottom of the chain last. In order to accomplish this, players should attempt to hit every Spiked Ball they see, rather than avoid them.
