Chain Chomp Wheel (known as Chain Chomp Roulette in Europe) is a Battle Course in the game Mario Kart Wii for Wii. It takes place inside a casino's Wheel wheel with a gigantic Chomp rolling around and squashing racers in its path. Strangely enough this arena is located underwater, as a Mega Unagi and Cheep-Cheeps can be swimming outside by looking out the windows located on the walls of the wheel. As with Funky Stadium, the players start from off the map on Boost Pads and make an entrance into the map.

Chain Chomp Wheel (known as Chain Chomp Roulette in the British English version) is a battle course in the game Mario Kart Wii. It takes place inside a casino's roulette-style wheel, with a Chain Chomp rolling around and squashing racers in its path. The arena is located underwater; an Unagi and Big Cheep Cheeps can be seen through the windows on the walls, swimming outside of the stage. As with Funky Stadium, the players start from off the map on Dash Panels and make an entrance into the map.

The layout of the Chain Chomp Wheel is similar to Tart Top, a battle course from Mario Kart DS. The course is round with a small incline, with Dash Panels located on the outer section of the wheel and in the very center of the wheel. The wheel is constantly moving, and Item Boxes are located around every few sections of the wheel, as well as the middle of a large star (which appears to act as the wheel's spinner). The inside of the star is a Trick spot; it can be tricked off of by going off the ramp at a certain angle. The center Dash Panels can be used to get Item Boxes located in the wheel's spinner, which has a high chance of granting the player a Star, although they can also give a Mushroom.
Because this Battle Course is based off of a Wheel, it is round with a small incline, and is always moving. Boost Pads are located on the outer section of the wheel and in the very center of the wheel (which can be used to get Item Boxes located in the wheel's spinner.

A large Chain Chomp rolls around the course in an opposite direction to the wheel. It starts at the northern edge of the arena before being launched onto the wheel via a cannon after approximately five seconds into the match. Anyone caught in its path is flattened, causing them to lose a balloon (in Balloon Battle) or three coins (in Coin Runners). They will also lose any items they have. Any racers who run into the Chain Chomp from midair (after using the ramp) get knocked over as if they ran into a Bullet Bill.
Item Boxes are spread out around every few sections of the wheel and in the middle of a large star (which appears to act as the wheel's spinner), making it similar to the layout of Tart Top, a previous Battle course. As stated above, a Chain Chomp rolls around the course, and anyone who runs into it is flattened. The Chomp appears on the map, so it can easily be avoided. Items can  also be thrown through the Chomp.

May 2009's second tournament required players to collect 100 coins grouped near the center of the course. Item Boxes in the star in the middle only contain Stars, while Item Boxes on the wheel itself contain either a Mushroom or a Mega Mushroom. Controls were restricted to Wii Wheel users only. The tournament was repeated as the second tournament of May 2011, the first tournament of August 2012, and the second tournament of October 2013.
A competition took place on this battle course, where players had to collect one hundred coins, while avoiding the Incoming Chomp. It was restricted to Wii Wheel users, and the items that were used included Mushrooms, Mega Mushrooms, and Stars. This competition was the second competition of May 2009, and it was repeated again as the second competition of May 2011.

Trivia
*This is the first battle course in the Mario Kart series to have a different name between the American and British localizations.
*The two horns heard after the 20-second mark in Chain Chomp Wheel's music are sampled in the song "#14 crush" from Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion, which was also composed by Ryo Nagamatsu,<ref>Splatoon 2 ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK -Octotune-.
