The '''Cave People''' are native humans of [[Dinosaur Land|Dinosaur World]] appear in most episodes of the ''[[Super Mario World (television series)|Super Mario World]]'' animated series. The Cave People are generally rather short and stubby in appearance, often having long hair. In addition, Cave People primarily speak typical caveman gibberish, though there are some that are able to speak intelligibly, albeit in incomplete sentences. The only notable Cave Person is [[Oogtar]], whose role is similar to that of [[Toad]] from ''[[The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!]]'' and ''[[The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3]]''; additionally, Oogtar and Toad share the same voice actor. Cave People are portrayed as somewhat unintelligent. They resemble the prehistoric peoples of [[Earth]].

In ''[[The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!]]'' episode "[[Quest for Pizza]]", [[Caveman Land]] is home to [[caveman|primitive Mushroom People]]. However, one human named [[Mugga]] coexists with them.
