The ringing phone wakes up Mario and Luigi. Luigi then accidentally tells family secrets to Sgt. Slaughter, who ignores them to answer the phone, while the brothers go back to sleep. Slaughter then hears that a mistake was made, and that he was to train the [[Ratagator]] instead. After hanging up, Sgt.
