The '''Cat Tour''' was the seventy-first tour of ''[[Mario Kart Tour]]'', which began on June 1, 2022 and ended on June 14, 2022. As the tour's name suggests, it introduced [[Cat Mario]] and [[Cat Mario|Cat Luigi]] as new drivers, new cat-themed karts and gliders such as the [[Cream Cat Cruiser]] and the [[Cream Toe-Bean Balloons]], as well as a cat-themed [[Mii|Mii Racing Suit]] as part of Wave 7 of Mii Racing Suits. The tour also introduced [[GCN Baby Park|Baby Park]] from ''[[Mario Kart: Double Dash!!]]'' as a new course, making it the first course from that game to be added to ''Mario Kart Tour'' since the [[New York Tour]] and the game's launch introducing [[GCN Yoshi Circuit]] and [[GCN Dino Dino Jungle]] seventy tours prior. The tour also introduced the [[Goo-Goo Buggy]] from the aforementioned game, and was the first tour since the [[Los Angeles Tour (2022)|2022 Los Angeles Tour]] to introduce five new karts. Also, this was the first tour since the [[Penguin Tour]] with a new [[Vs. Mega]] bonus challenge, being a race against Mega [[Bowser]] on [[RMX Choco Island 1]].

The [[Nabbit Cup]] debuted in this tour, even though [[Nabbit]] had been available since the [[Wild West Tour]] and has been obtainable from all regular pipes starting with the [[Bowser vs. DK Tour]].

This tour's [[Coin Rush (Mario Kart Tour)|Coin Rush]] course was [[N64 Koopa Troopa Beach]], which was reused from the [[Marine Tour]]. The menu's background featured a green hill and several attractions from Baby Park as the landmark for this tour.

Starting from this tour, the [[Candlelight Flight (glider)|Candlelight Flight]] and [[Wonderful Wings]] are both available in regular tour pipes, including the All-Clear Pipe.

==Today's Challenge==
Players' most recently used kart and glider are chosen, and favorite and favored ones have extra priority. Opponents are arranged randomly. On day 1 of this tour, players finish a race in [[SNES Donut Plains 2|SNES Donut Plains 2R]] in the [[Mii Cup]] using [[Yoshi (species)|Black Yoshi]] for a free pipe launch. Starting from day 2, players have to finish a race in the earliest incomplete course that is not in any of the ranked cups using the driver shown on the course's thumbnail every day to obtain the corresponding reward in the table below. Once all of the courses are completed, the courses are selected at random.
